The award of Honorary Fellow is the highest accolade that the Bradford College can bestow on a person. It is given to individuals distinguished by their outstanding contribution to their fields, the College or the City of Bradford. The earliest recipients were the Earl of Athlone KG in 1933 and Lord Harewood KG in 1935.
The TOYP Awards recognise socially responsible leaders, who motivate their peers to seek excellence and serve others.
Since 1983, JCI has honoured over 200 individuals from 47 nations. Past recipients of national awards include: John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger, Elvis Presley and many more, all named before the age of 40 and before they had achieved national prominence.
By recognizing these people, JCI raises the status of socially responsible leaders in this world. The honourees motivate their peers to seek excellence and serve others. Their stories of discovery, determination and ingenuity inspire young people to be better leaders and create better societies.
Through innovative actions, extraordinary achievement and dedication to serving others, the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (JCI TOYP) Honorees create sustainable impact in their communities and across the globe. Each year, JCI honours ten outstanding young people across the globe under the age of 40. These young active citizens exemplify the spirit of the JCI Mission and provide exemplary service to their communities, serving as honorable young active citizens.
